As a general rule you should have your finish grade done before you get your sod. |

Measure your area. |
| 3. |
Make sure that you have water, hoses and sprinklers before you start to lay sod. To be safe, once you open a roll of sod, it should be watered within 20 minutes. |

Order sod for pickup 1/2 day ahead for less than 2,000 sq.ft. 24 hours ahead for over 2,000 sq.ft. and 2 days ahead for delivery. |
